'Captain America: The First Avenger' trailer

Looks pretty awesome... But what's with the title? Do we really need to know he's the first Avenger?

Taylor Swift in 'Dr. Seuss' The Lorax'
"Swift joins Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Rob Riggle and Betty White in the tale of a boy who searches for a way to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. He comes across the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world."

'I Am Legend' had a (much better) alternate ending?
Don't know how I just heard about this, apparently I missed a couple years in the mid-00s.
Anyway, if you thought the movie ended oddly, you'll appreciate this version is wayyyyy more than the theatrical release and makes a lot more sense.
For those unaware, let me explain the concept of Richard Matheson's book to help clarify why this original ending was so amazing to finally see. Without spoiling too much (incase you want to read it), the entire purpose of the title I Am Legend is that in the book, Robert Neville actually is the last man on the planet. And he has switched places from our reality of what we perceive as legend, to actually being the legend. As in, vampires are "legendary" to us because they're a myth from fantasy. In the book, Robert Neville is "legendary" because he is that myth and goes out day after day hunting them. With the original theatrical ending, they never actually touched on that idea at all - but when you think about, that's a pretty damn cool concept. (First Showing)

Script for a third X Files movie is being written
It's been rumored since the 2nd movie was released, but one can hope...

The good ol' days

"According to a French interview with David Duchovny published today, that seems to be the case.

As Philes on Facebook have already pointed out, the English translation is, " It is being written. It looks just ahead of Fox, a little scalded by the relatively poor reception of the second component. The error comes, I believe that the authors had strayed too far from the very roots of the series. Moreover, the film was released in summer. The third will be much closer to what the public expects, with government conspiracies, etc.."

XFN is attempting to confirm the translation and the legitimacy of the interview through other sources but given some background information that we are aware of, we believe a script is very likely in the works.
